Printmaker and Illustrator
Welcome to the art of printmaking!
I have exciting news! I want to extend a huge thank you to the Edmonds Art Festival judges for awarding me 3rd place in the printmaking catagory at the 2025 Edmonds (WA) Art Festival this past June! With hundreds of entries from artists in the Pacific Northwest region, I am so honored to have won this award for my latest print, Earth & Sky. You can see this print below.
Why printmaking? I fell in love with this medium many years ago. I love the colors, the techniques, the carving of the blocks! I find the whole process so much fun! And there's always more to learn. I make art because it makes me happy! And I hope that my art makes you happy too. :)
You can double click any item on my website to get a brief description of that item, and, if it's also in my etsy store, the link to that item in my store. However, not everything on my website is available in my store. Thanks for visiting!

Artist Profile
I am an award winning printmaker and illustrator. I originally studied printmaking techniques while in college, where I majored in psychology with a minor in art. I put my artwork on hold while I spent many years in publishing, doing layout and production on monthly and weekly magazines including McCall's Working Mother, Sunset Magazine, TravelAge West and many small trade magazines.
I am the illustrator of two children's books, I'm Going to be a Big Brother, and I'm Going to be a Big Sister, both the recipients of the 2006 iParent Media Awards.
I love the art of printmaking. I use relief, intaglio, monotype, and silkscreen printmaking techniques in my artwork, and take classes to learn new chemical-free printmaking whenever I can. I am constantly trying out new techniques as I'm always looking for new ways to do this wonderful art form!
I have participated in many art shows and exhibits in the San Francisco Bay Area, Lake Tahoe CA, Reno NV, and in the Seattle area. I most recently won 3rd place in the printmaking catagory at the 2025 Edmonds Art Festival! I am so honored to have received this award.
I have been in the Seattle area for the past 4 years, and am constantly amazed and inspired by the beauty of Puget Sound.
